What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Learn about our roles-based permission system, used for managing what people can see or do in The Wild.

We use a roles-based permission system for both teams and content to control what people can see or do in The Wild

Team Roles

  • Owners can create projects, manage users, roles, and billing, and access all content shared with the team.
  • Admins can create projects, manage users and roles, and access all content shared with the team.
  • Team Members can create projects and access all content shared with the team.
  • Guests can access only content that has been explicitly shared with them.

“Guest Viewer” refers to Guests whose highest content permission level is Viewer. These users are free and unlimited, and do not use your team’s floating licenses.

Content Roles

Permissions are set at the content level, and are inherited from the parent. When we say “content” we’re referring to projects and everything within (collections, spaces, and assets).

There are 3 levels of content permissions:

  1. Viewers can view content.
  2. Editors can view, edit, rename, duplicate, and replace content, as well as create new content within. They can also add users to, and change other users’ permissions on the content.
  3. Owners: By default, the user who creates (or imports) the content is the owner. They cannot be removed from the content unless they transfer ownership to someone else.

The project owner owns every piece of content within their project.

You can contact us anytime. Our working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm PST.
