What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Wirelessly tethering your Oculus Quest to a VR-ready PC

Air Link is a new experimental feature that allows Oculus Quest and Quest 2 users to optionally wirelessly stream advanced VR experiences from a VR-ready computer. This significant feature first rolled out in V28.

Air Link allows The Wild users to comfortably experience heavier federated models on Quest that previously couldn't run on the standalone processor.

Requirements to use Oculus Air Link in The Wild

  • VR-ready PC with the following recommended specs:
  • CPU: Intel i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) equivalent or greater
  • RAM: 8GB or greater
  • An Oculus Quest or Quest 2
  • V28+ Oculus Quest update installed (on Desktop as well as Oculus Quest 2)
  • 5GHz Wifi Network

How to Access Air Link

Toggle feature on your Windows PC app

  1. Download and update the Oculus PC app (must be updated to at least V28.)
  2. Open the Oculus PC app and select Settings.
  3. Select the Beta tab. Select the button next to Air Link.

  3. Read the Air Link Requirements then select Continue.
  4. Find and select your PC in the Available PCs list then select Pair.
  5. Once pairing is complete you can now click Launch.

Your Quest will now be wirelessly streaming content from your PC. Now it’s time to open The Wild.

  • Stay within 20 feet of Wifi router for better streaming.
  • Have your PC connected to Router/Access Point via Ethernet cable to optimize Wifi bandwidth.

Air Link is an experimental feature from Oculus, so keep in mind that it still has a few Known Issues. Oculus has a few resources for Air Link in their Help Center with best practices, Q&A, and problem solving recommendations that may be helpful to you.
